Ingredients:
• 1 pack Oceanic Merchants Distribution Palusami
• 1 can Oceanic Merchants Distribution Corned Beef
• 1 tablespoon cooking oil
• 1 small onion, finely diced
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 teaspoon soy sauce (optional)
• 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
• 1 spring onion, chopped (for garnish)
• Steamed rice, for serving
Cooking Instructions:
1. Heat the cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
2. Sauté the diced onion until soft and translucent, then add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
3. Add the corned beef and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, breaking it apart and stirring until evenly heated.
4. Season with black pepper and soy sauce, if desired. Remove from heat.
5. Place the Oceanic Merchants Distribution Palusami into an oven-safe baking dish or prepare it according to the package instructions.
6. Spoon the cooked corned beef mixture evenly over the top of the palusami.
7. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the coconut cream is bubbling and the taro leaves are tender.
8. Remove from the oven and allow it to rest for 5 minutes.
9. Garnish with chopped spring onion before serving.
10. Serve hot with freshly steamed rice for a hearty island-inspired meal.
